Portugal Yoga Retreat

May 9-14, 2027 | Grândola, Portugal

Join us as we cross the pond and head out on retreat to Portugal! Christina & Tizzy lead you on this 5 night, 6 day retreat at a beautifully restored farmhouse property nestled between the mountains and the beach in southern Portugal.

We’ll be staying at Monte das Casolas, a quaint rural property that lends itself to introspection and quietude. The property was built with sustainability in mind; you’ll note this from the construction materials used to the organic food served.

Each day will begin with meditation and reflection, creating space to arrive fully and set an intention for the day ahead, followed by morning yoga and nourishing vegetarian meals. Our evenings will close with a grounding yoga practice, inviting us to slow down and turn inward.  Throughout the week, we’ll also venture beyond the property for a couple of thoughtfully planned excursions, offering an opportunity to explore and connect with the beauty and culture of southern Portugal.

Join us as we cultivate time and space for intentional dedication to our practice, rest for our minds & bodies, reflection on our inner landscapes, and connection to ourselves, one another and the beautiful land upon which we reside.

Retreat Co-Leads

Christina Spencer (she/her) |  My classes aim to create a safe container so students can have an experience of themselves, whether in an energetic, creative Vinyasa class or a gentle, slow Yin class. Each class is a little journey inward and an opportunity to make contact with your internal landscape, centering choice and curiosity within intelligent sequencing.

Tizzy Ernstoff (she/her) | My classes blend breath, movement, and attention to help you feel more at home in your body. I’m curious about how the shapes we make on the mat can gently shift the ones we hold in our minds—those familiar patterns of thought, tension, or self-perception that often go unnoticed. Expect a thoughtful mix of styles, a steady pace, and plenty of space to explore what’s unfolding beneath the surface.
