Thematic Sequencing
Explore & Develop Themes Through Movement & Language
Led by Tizzy Ernstoff // Sunday, November 8
Join Tizzy for a 6-hour course designed for Vinyasa teachers ready to deepen the thematic dimension of their teaching. This course offers a practical framework for weaving themes into the sequences, language and practices you already teach.
You’ll explore how metaphor, storytelling, embodied inquiry and intentional cueing can bring more of your own perspective and the deeper teachings of yoga into the room. The goal is to give you a framework for developing a more distinct teaching voice and creating classes with greater coherence, depth and resonance.

Teacher | Tizzy Ernstoff
With over 500-hrs of training, Tizzy’s enthusiasm for teaching lies in promoting mindfulness based movement as a practice tool to develop an acute awareness of the physical body and how it pertains to mental and emotional patterns. Tizzy’s classes explore themes and metaphors that invite practitioners to develop a deeper and more profound relationship with themselves through the exploration of movement and breath. Her classes reflect a blend of asana-styles rooted in anatomically safe alignment that inspire creativity, curiosity and embodiment.
She lives in Portland, Maine with her partner and five year old son, Wolf. Tizzy spends her time outside of the studio with her family exploring mid-coast and looking for the best food Maine offers.
The Art of Sequencing & Theming
Rather than teaching a “peak posture”, this training will teach you how to skillfully structure your sequence around a theme to invite your students into deeper relationship with themselves. Throughout this course, you will explore the nuances of teaching and container setting while taking a curious and critical lens to cueing language. This training does not cover yoga philosophy; instead, it offers a framework for bringing your own study, lived experience and yoga wisdom into your teaching practice.
