Yoga Teacher’s Mentorship Group
Developing Somatic Awareness to Teach with Integrity and Authenticity
A Six-Month In-Person Mentorship
“A mentor is someone who, through her wisdom and experience, sees who we are and has a strong desire to facilitate the blossoming of our fullest capacities.”
— Donna Farhi
Are you a yoga teacher longing for a supportive, intentional space to grow — both in your teaching and in yourself?
Do you have questions about your role as a yoga teacher in an ever changing landscape?
Are you seeking to deepen your confidence, refine your voice, and teach with more authenticity, integrity, and presence?
Overview
What: This is not another training in technique or modality. Instead, it's an invitation to bring more of you into your teaching — whether you’re a newbie or more seasoned teacher.
When: We’ll meet on the first Friday of the month 3:45-5:15pm.
Dates: January 9 (note this is the second Friday), February 6, March 6, April 3, May 1 and June 5.
Who: This program is open to those who have completed a 200 or 500 hour yoga teacher training. For the program to be most beneficial, it’s best if teachers are currently teaching at least one class a week.
Investment: $195. *PYC Teacher Training graduates receive a lifetime 10% training discount.
Content
Each month will center around a different theme, but the heart of the program lies in the group's needs. This is a co-created space where your questions, curiosities and challenges help shape the conversation.
You’ll be invited to bring awareness, courage, creativity and honesty to aspects of teaching you most wish to enliven. You will have the opportunity to explore your professional vision and utilize the support of the group to see that vision brought to life.

Embodiment: cultivating presence in yourself and your students
Clarifying your values and scope of practice as a yoga teacher
Identifying your relationship to risk-taking as a yoga teacher
Somatic tools (i.e. sensory tracking, exploratory movement) for nervous system awareness and resilience

Margo Rosingana, LCPC-C
Margo brings over two decades of dedicated yoga practice to teaching and mentorship. She is fascinated by the nuances and subtleties that yoga can offer and the ways in which it can foster a sense of both aliveness and steadiness. As a Taurus Rising, she craves slow, grounded practices that allow for an enlivening of sensory awareness. This is apparent in the yoga classes that she teaches and the modalities she is drawn to. She has facilitated modules for 200 and 300 hour teacher trainings and developed a signature Restorative Yoga teacher training that is well-regarded among yoga teachers in Maine. Margo has an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Somatic Psychotherapy. She is committed to empowering individuals through this integrative approach that uses the body-mind network to deepen self understanding and self awareness.
